Hi, I'm Halley Carruthers — the founder of Halley Cares Pet Care.

Caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. With over a decade of experience caring for a variety of animals, I’ve dedicated my life to compassionate, knowledgeable pet care.

My background includes working in both a veterinary clinic & boarding facility and a humane society, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m especially comfortable caring for senior pets and those who require medication or special attention.

Beyond my professional work, I’ve raised and cared for my own pets throughout the years, including a hamster, guinea pig, parakeets, snakes, lizards, and several beloved family golden retrievers. I have also cared for my family and friend's pets. These animals have taught me patience, compassion, and just how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry (feathered or scaly) family members.
